Jaromin Anthony

(born 1913 in Nikiszowcu, died. 1992) Up per Silesia primitive painter, a member of the Group Janowska. Be fore World War II he worked in the mine Giesche . After returnin g from the war, he was hosted by House of Culture Mine Wieczorek . Janowska group was linked from the beginning of its inception. Themes of his works were mainly landscapes. Chose themes from nature: trees, fields, ponds and lakes. Painter paintings are now in museums such as History Museum in Katowice, the Silesian Museum in Katowice, the Municipal Museum in Zabrze, Poland and Silesian Museum in Bytom.
